"We enjoyed being there and walking to the downtown restaurant and having the amenities on the property. There was clean and nice and self parking and protected area was also functional. The bar staff was very pleasant and suggesting a line for my wife and even giving us service rate prior to closing Front Desk was pleasant and efficient We did not eat there this time, but had once in the past"

"Property was conveniently located to historic downtown and the Riverwalk. When was clean and bright and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and the property manager. Sherri was very nice. He gave us some good ideas of things to do. I would highly recommend this place."

"El hotel tiene una fantástica ubicación, es hermoso, el personal es atento, todo excelente. La única razón por la que no le pongo todas las estrellas es porque debido a que era Halloween el hotel estaba súper lleno y no limpiaron la habitación. Hablé con una amable empleada que me pidió mil excusas y me explicó la situación. La gerencia debió tomar prevenciones al respecto, no se puede cortar gastos en esos aspectos."

"Great stay."

"A+"

"Overall fantastic stay! Staff was super friendly, very accommodating and nice to chat with while staying professional yet leisurely which made for a comfortable environment before even checking in. Rooms were very clean and well stocked on towels, coffee, extra toilet paper, etc and we absolutely loved the 24/hr coffee bar in the lobby that was always full. Will definitely be staying here again when in the area!"

"Decent"

"Good location. Hotel old and overpriced."

"My daughter and I were doing a college tour of the Great South. We booked this property from Expedia the day of. We arrived to find that this was not a hotel but a condominium being rented out as a short term rental. So there was no reception desk. The address given was for a retail store and there was very little signage to identify it. After the wonderful interaction with a resident of the building she let us know about the check in protocol. After searching numerous emails and texts we found...

"Enjoyable stay with helpful staff. Kind of tucked away but I liked that."

"Bigger water bottles maybe quart bottles should be given. The tap water made me a little sickly for a day."

"The check-in person was great, it was midnight before we got there and he got us checked in right away. The room was great."

"Just came off a 5 night trip where we stayed in 3 different Homewood Suites properties in different cities and this one was the best. However, it still had its issues. I was given a studio suite when I payed for and booked a true suite with a separate bedroom. They then sent me to THREE (3) different rooms and it was still a studio suite every time. On the final try, they finally got me into a one bedroom suite. Mind you I was dragging my toddler, cat, and luggage with me every time. They tried...

"The first time that I stayed at this hotel last year, everything was excellent. This time when I stayed for most of our stay, the water in the bathroom was not even hot. It was barely lukewarm. I told the staff member about the water not being hot, and she told me that maintenance left at twelve. Noon, on a saturday of all days. I don't know if I will use this hotel again. Cause no one likes to take a cold shower when it is cool outside."

"A new establishment that more than exceeded our expectations. Everything was immaculately clean and fresh. The only thing lacking was toiletries and tissue paper. But if that is ll we have to gripe about, take your own supply and enjoy this new hotel by Marriott. It is priced nicely."
