The room was clean and comfortable, and the workspace in the room was better than what I saw in some of the pricier hotels nearby. The valets were friendly and gave good advice. The only drawbacks were that views from the room were of surrounding commercial buildings, you can't see to the river from here. Also breakfast could have been better.

Great Place to Stay

Clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the downtown area.

Good choice in a good location

Nice hotel, excellent location, easy walk to many shopping and dining options. The Wilmington River district area seems to attract some unhoused people, but doesn't feel unsafe.

We enjoyed the location and walkability of the area. When we checked in it was evident the bathtub had not been cleaned. The front desk receptionist offered to move us but when she checked there were no available rooms. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately though our room, specifically the bathroom, was not up to standard.

The staff was kind and tried to please everyone. The facility was clean and comfortable! Sliding closet door /bathroom door was not the best idea if someone is trying to get into the closet and someone trying to get out of the bathroom!

There is no parking at this hotel however, they offer valet for $29 a night +7 dollars for SUV. Or truck. Which is a terrible. You can use the city meters for parking and it’s three dollars an hour from 6 PM to 9 AM. It is free. We were fortunate to find a city meter right in front of the hotel that we pulled into check in. We ended up staying in that spot and only cost us $15 to park with the city meter. The hotel location is excellent for walking tons of shops and restaurants within them blocks. Great continental breakfast. Clean hotel and friendly staff.
