It was lovely, had a very spacious bath with a view, although, if you just wanted to have a shower there was no facilities to hold the shower head up, no towel rails, the sink was beautiful but unfortunately too high for me, I am just over five foot tall. "Fantastic stay in a beautiful village right on the edge of the Cotswold. The entire place was really lovely, including the staff - I actually booked for the wrong date but they quickly fixed everything and was able to adjust. Rooms was excellent, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, I also had dinner in the garden and the food was delicious. Added bonus that the village is where some of Downton Abbey scenes were filmed so that was fun!"

"Beautiful property, wonderful staff, good food. The properties was a bit noisy at night due to bar patrons, but the hotel provides earplugs. There were a few lights out in the bathroom and the towel warmer did not work, but nothing major to impact the comfortability."

"Second visit to the Swan with our dogs. The staff are very friendly, helpful and the dog friendly policy made travelling with two big dogs much easier. We ate in the restaurant: swordfish with ratatouille and a lovely freshly baked pizza… all great! A perfect stopping place in a picturesque village in the Cotswolds when we’re on our way home to Sussex."

However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. "I stayed 2 nights at The Bell Inn, and found it to be quiet and comfortable. Tucked away from the crowds, but within easy reach of all the charming Cotswold villages. The food was also tasty. They do an included continental breakfast of yogurt, granola, fruits, croissants, and jam. But ordering dinner there is worthwhile. Nice place for a pint and a pizza."
