"Our stay at Lords of the Manor was truly exceptional. The hotel itself is very pretty, and although it rained almost constantly, the grounds were clearly beautiful. "Church view was a perfect location. It was an easy walk on the footpath to the town. The cottage was huge & done with impeccable taste. We had a bit of difficulty finding the cottage, as it was nighttime & raining when we arrived, but were pleasantly surprised at the loveliness once we entered."

"Most Wonderful Experience! Beautifully cared for and renovated manor house. Superb grounds, excellent breakfasts, bar with a nice feel and aesthetic. Our room was incredible. Unbeknownst to us, management upgraded our room to a garden suite, which took our breath away. The suite was huge and gorgeously appointed, as was the bathroom. We had a private patio with a firepit. Gracious staff ensured that we had firewood, tea, snacks…anything we needed. We will definitely be staying here again!"

"Barton Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful Bourton on the Water. There is a lot to do just walking around the village (kid friendly)and nearby villages. There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. The gps coordinates on Expedia are inaccurate and the street was dark. The property is the right next to the Mousetrap Inn. It has a sign that was difficult to...

"The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were excellent. The entry to to property comes up pretty quickly so it is easy to drive past even with the prominent sign."

"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

Make sure to make note of your check-in instructions (code to the lock box for the key) before you arrive as cell service is very spotty and no access to wifi until you enter the unit. Nice neighbourhood. 45 minute walk to bourton on the water. "
