"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

"Gorgeous little pub/B&B right in the centre of Bourton on the water. The room was super cozy and clean and we slept so well in the bed (our room was above the pub facing the main road). The pub its self is so welcoming and the food was delicious - the breakfast is the nicest traditional breakfast that I’ve ever had. Would absolutely recommend to stay here if you are looking for a relaxed break and great base to explore the area."

"Lovely stay, room was great and clean. Comfortable bed. Location is a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Bourton on the water. The team are friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit limited and it makes sense to arrive around 4-5pm as the crowds start to reduce, especially if you’re staying at the weekend. Would definitely stay there again"

"The Inn is set in a very pretty location. The textiles in the room are in much need of updating; however, they are very comfortable rooms. The bathroom was large and adequately stocked. We had a large room, but there were people above us that made so much noise it made sleep very difficult. The staff were very nice and helpful. Both this property and the Manor house across the street have been acquired recently by a new company. I do hope this company will do everything it can to improve the food in the restaurant at the Inn. It Desperately needs a real bar. Thank goodness we were able to go across the street to The Manor to have our meals and cocktails there. As there is nothing to do in Lower Slaughter, you have to drive everywhere if you want any type of nighttime activity. It is ideal for a one night stay; however, we were there for three nights."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank Flat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The living area was also comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely, although the bath may be a little awkward to get in and out of if you are shorter. The location is excellent — right in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with plenty of good pubs, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was good too, with plenty of spaces in the nearby paid-for car park. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The Model Village is directly across the road and well worth visiting, with Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum also close by. Stow-on-the-Wold, with its large Tesco, is only a short drive away if you want to stock up and cook yourself. The only minor downside is that, being so central, you can hear the shop downstairs setting up from around 7am. This wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to bear it in mind. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, both by phone and email. Overall, a lovely, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. We'd happily stay again."
