"It was great for the two nights we stayed. We were on the top floor with a balcony with a great view. The Atocha train station was conveniently located across the street. It's about a 25 minute walk to Mayor Plaza through the beautiful El Retiro Park. The only downside was reading reviews that you had to rent utensils, plates, cups, pots and pans from the front desk. I never heard of that before; therefore, we brought out own paper plates and plastic utensils for our cereal and yogurt we had in the morning. We also bought our own mugs and wine glasses for coffee and wine, cheap from a home store and used for the duration of our trip."
