Nice staff, very dirty hotel

The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy, but nice to have the option. The room was dirty, moist, smells bad and has mold in the bathroom. You can tell the bedding is not washed between guests. The pillows and mattress are old and stained. The bathroom has black mold growing in the room and the shower is really dirty, I had to use my sandals. The room smelled so moldy especially with the AC on. The bed comes with one sheet, one pillow and no blanket. I wouldn’t mind so much but I spent $300 per night here and the room is a health risk. I would not stay here again and would steer friends away from here too.

It was a blackout for more then 12 hours, from 6 pm until minimum 7:30 am of next day ( don’t know exactly, because we have left to work.) No electricity, no lifts, no Wi-Fi, no air condition, no hot water…. And what? No apologies!!! We stayed 5 nights and asked for late check-out, at 2 pm instead of noon. We didn’t get it! This people have no idea what hospitality means…

What a deception! I have many times chosed Ibis Botafogo when in Rio, and have been very satisfied. This time however Ibis Botafogo was fully booked and I ended up at Ibis styles Horrible bed and pillows, bad cleaning up, you could hear your neighbors chat, the breakfast was some afternoon tea, a lot of cakes, the reception staff, well they answered the questions where the knew tha answers, but didn´t do a thing to make a call to get more information. Long time since I stayed at such a bad hotel, not even cheap. To avoid,

A equipe foi ótima, especialmente a Tamires que nos ajudou com o check-in, o café da manhã bem variado e delicioso, o quarto era bem aconchegante e confortável, o hotel fica muito bem localizado há um metrô em frente, um shopping praticamente ao lado e tudo de muito fácil acesso. A única coisa que deixou a desejar foi a limpeza do quarto solicitamos duas vezes, mas não foi feita. Fora isso a estadia foi perfeita.
