"Great hitel in a good location. Great views from ocean view rooms but noisy harbour. Try & get the 6th floor which will be quieter and offer the best view"
"Incredible property, staff, restaurant and atmosphere from the moment we arrived and the moment we left. The pictures of the rooms, grounds and beach do not do this resort / property justice."
"Great hotel, very clean and good amenities (spa is a plus, with sauna and jacuzzi). My only suggestion would be to increase the internal pool and jacuzzi’s water temperature, since is was unusual cold weather for this time of the year. "
"This hotel is phenomenal. I have stayed in many hotels, and I was genuinely impressed by this one. We stayed for three nights during the Furnas portion of our trip and enjoyed every second of it.
Centrally located in Furnas, the hotel is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, bakery, and supermarket, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient.
We were checked in by Claudia, who was so friendly and even provided us with a plug adapter after we realized we had forgotten ours. I believe she also noticed it was my birthday, even though we never mentioned it, because on the day of check-in we received a surprise knock at our door: a complimentary bottle of champagne and glasses from the hotel. We were also treated to a special appetizer from the chef at dinner at no extra cost.
These thoughtful touches were completely unexpected but made us feel truly appreciated as guests.
If that is not enough to convince you to stay, the breakfast rotates daily and tastes amazing, and guests also have 24-hour access to the thermal pools and gardens. The property truly feels like an oasis. Although there is plenty to do in Furnas, you could easily spend your entire stay at the hotel and still have a marvelous time.
We also booked spa massages during our stay and had a wonderful experience.
The only thing I would change is booking this hotel for our entire and driving to excursions across island because this hotel truly felt like a home away from home!"
"Hotel is clean just a bit old and needs some love. Especially the shower, it's half a bath, so if you have mobility issues not good. And shower head was not good at all (so small and not much power). But hot water ok. Pool is in the basement which is dark, and can't use it if you don't have a swimming cap. Location is convenient, close to highway if you are driving, historic town 10-15 min walk, shopping mall 25 minutes walk, grocery almost in front of the hotel. I had no issues to park on the street overnight."
"Perfect stay. The location is ideal, walking distance to the main sights but not in a crowded street. There’s free parking round the corner and paid parking on street (not expensive). The swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room were excellent addition. Rooms have a balcony with nice views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can rent pool towels with a deposit of 10€ per towel. Breakfast can be better (the pancake machine is an experience haha), but overall excellent for the price."
"Huge breakfast bar, grest dinner food, service 10 stars. Hot.pools are best feature. It was so good that we returned after a couple of day after chevkout just for a dip in y be pool (spa visit). If we return on tbe island, we'll stay in this hotel."
