"Villa Gale Tomar has updated a gorgeous historic location along the Nabao River while still honoring it's historic charm. We booked a room with a balcony facing the outside pool and river, and were more than pleased with our accommodations. The hotel has ample parking in the prettiest parking lot I have ever used, only 1 block across the river to the downtown main street, and is full of elegant charm!"

Même s'il faisait chaud 30 mai au 1er juin 2026 et que nous étions à l'étage supérieur, la configuration de l'appartement permettait avec l'ouverture des fenêtres de chaque côté, d'avoir une bonne ventilation et une température très confortable. "Wow. Wasn’t necessarily sure what to expect from a hotel in such a small town like Golegã would be but it was EXCELLENT. The hotel infrastructure was updated and our room was very large with an excellent shower. The best part for us was the pool and jacuzzi - exactly what 2 weary travelers needed after walking 20 miles!"

"The staff were great. There is a pool but they don’t provide towels for the pool. The bathroom towels had a hole in them and the beds were uncomfortable. Good for a one night stay while travelling onto another destination."

"Good location in relation to where I needed to attend a wedding in Santarem. However, the onsite gym was not available and was one of the main reasons I booked this particular hotel. Fortunately there was a gym locally which cost 18 Euro for a weeks use. The food at the hotel was pretty good and inexpensive even when compared to the options available locally. A lovely outdoor pool was there with plenty of loungers but as the weather was over 40c it was not used much during my stay. Overall good...
