This is a lovely little guest house close to the center of town with a very affordable price. My room was clean and comfortable and included a kitchenette with a refrigerator. There was also a nice patio to sit outdoors after sightseeing. Optional breakfast for 7 euros which was good.

Cute hotel with access to all the tourist sites such as the Riverwalk, the castle and the convent. Breakfast was very good and well served, Continental style. The greatest challenge is the inability to stop to drop off luggage if arriving by car. Parking is free, but requires about a five minute walk to a local public parking lot.

I was greeted with kindness and a great smile! I have some questions about the area and the receptionist provided a map and detail information. I was so impressed, that I booked for one more night, so I could take a trip to Fatima. Came back and room was all clean and ready for my return. I’m currently on the Camino to Santiago and needed a quiet place to rest! This was perfect and a great value!

Spotlessly clean. We had a castle view which was great. Close to the river. 15min walk to the castle & convent. Good resturants & shopping options nearby Right on the Camino Portuguese which was perfect for us. No lift, so youll have to carry your bags up stairs to your room
