"The property is breathtaking. The views, walking paths, history- everything is beautiful and peaceful. Although room was small, we didn’t spend much time inside- so many things to enjoy outside. We had garden view rooms and it had a very beautiful porch with roses. The whole property is very well maintained, and not touristy at all. Peace and quality everywhere .Dinner was lovely."

"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"Elvira and Katerina were one of the highlights, just after the beautiful surroundings and installations. We reached the hotel by rental car from Porto, 1 hour and 40 minutes. The hotel is on top of a hill full of vineyards, and what a beautiful view of the river the hotel has. In the morning breakfast is served beautifully. "You must have a car while visiting this property. Otherwise there is nothing to do. There is a very nice outdoor pool that is not heated. So it must be warm enough outside to enjoy it. The hotel offers a nice breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. About a half mile walk from the hotel is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu. I don't believe it is open for lunch. Another reason you need a car. During check in I noticed a large hose slightly larger than a dryer...
