"The Family Affair rooms are on the second floor of a mixed use block in an older building in an established area of Palermo. Only 15 mins walk to the cathedral. We had a lovely evening in a nearby wine bar on their recommended list and then had dinner in a fish restaurant nearby. Felt like we were amongst the locals rather than the tourists in the historical centre. Very easy to catch a bus back to the airport rather than the very expensive taxi we took on arrival. The accommodation is very...

"Every aspect of our stay was amazing. Two of the hosts - Michele and Ivan met us at the front door, and insisted on carrying our bags upstairs. They then sat us down for coffee and canolo, before explaining what sights we should see in Palermo. The room was immaculate, and even though we were unable to partake because of our schedules, the breakfast options looked amazing. On our first morning, Janna had some pastries for us to take with us (every other morning, we were out the door way too...

"It was all perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. Great location just next to the center in a quieter area. Easy to park, easy to walk everywhere. Comfortable beds and very helpful owner. Highly recommended"

"An amazing place to stay in Palermo. The jacuzzi in the bedroom was a huge plus. Safe area. Near breakfast spots, shopping areas, and local transportation. Hosts were very nice and gave us recommendations for places to eat. Would book again!"

"Una scoperta straordinaria! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Non sapremmo da dove iniziare per descrivere questa meravigliosa esperienza. Il nostro soggiorno in questo B&B è stato davvero impeccabile sotto tutti i punti di vista. Pulizia e comfort: gli spazi sono mantenuti con cura ossessiva. Tutto era immacolato, dagli ambienti comuni alle camere, dove non manca nulla. Un'attenzione ai dettagli che non passa inosservata. Accoglienza e staff. Discreti e altamente professionali, ma soprattutto genuinamente gentili e...

"Staff was a bit rude, and unhelpful. Actually not great at all."

"The room was very nice, everything was clean and looked new. The bathroom and shower are very nice, new, and clean. We did not meet the staff in person but communicated via messaging, which was convenient- quick and easy to understnd responses to my questions. "

"Nice and clean room,"

"Spacious apartments. A little far from the center of town. In a residential area"

"The location is excellent, and the hotel offers free breakfast. The room is good, with slippers."

"It was great. Very clean. Great location. Friendly helpful host. Very modern interior."

"The room was clean and comfortable with view of the park. Air conditioning effective and quiet. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast buffet was good. Lots of choice."

"Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. Loud music and people talking loudly throughout the night made it impossible to sleep. While the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, the lack of a quiet and comfortable environment was unacceptable. A good night’s rest is a basic expectation at any hotel, and sadly, this hotel failed to provide it."
