"Our second stay in 7 years. Although the famous 5 story tower is in long term renovation, the location is still best in our opinion. It very quiet and typical Japanese style residential area.walkable distance to major attractions and shopping. Hope this facility will still be around. It’s a visit center too, so lot of information and culture activities. "

"Overall the best stay we had on our Japan trip. Shopping streets are close by and so is the Nara parks. The food was wonderful and the staff are amazing and very welcoming."

"Clean, very large hotel room, especially for Japan standards. Has entrance, bathroom, living area, drink/fridge area and sleeping area. Be careful at the entrance as the step when entering is very easy to trip over. Breakfast has both Japanese and western style foods. Western style foods was very small and limited. Reserving a table for breakfast was unorganized due to crowding at breakfast. Location: Less than 10 min from the main subway station and in the middle of the busy area of town. Would return! "

"Ver old-school and traditional way to experience Japan. The staff was amazing. Provided a free shuttle to get us there, welcomed us with tea and a relaxed check in. the room was ver traditional and the hot soaking pool was incredible. Very traditional japanese dinner of many course and items that was very good but a bit awkward as we had never had many of the dishes so initially were confused on what/how to eat things. Once we figured out the menu and order it became much easier."
