"Excellent property with stunning views to a lake (Grundlsee) and the mountains. Helpful, friendly and very welcoming staff. Recommend."

"If you’re looking for affordable accommodation close to Hallstatt without paying Hallstatt prices, JUFA Hotel Altaussee is a reasonable choice, particularly for families with children. The location is excellent, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the hotel offers good family-friendly facilities. (JUFA Hotels) That said, manage your expectations. "We enjoyed our stay. It is in a nice part of town. Very quiet. The only unfortunate thing was that if there are guests above you, you can hear then walking around very well, so if they are up early, like the people that stayed above us, you will get woken up very early. There also seemed to be an odor of gas when we walked in ."
