"The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast."

"This lovely hotel, with older charm and character, is perfectly located to walking and hiking trails, and a 2 minute stroll to the monastic ruins. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The tub/shower was a bit of a high step, but grab bar was perfect help. Breakfast in the morning was buffet-style with good variety. I wish we had time to stay longer than just overnight."

"Although the rooms were nice and spacious, as an older couple it was difficult for us with the bar Party going in until 2:30 am. They were gracious to give us earplugs. The young folks really love it. It’s directly across from the beach. A train comes into Bray, so if you know how to use trains you could probably come there from the airport by train."
