The employee on duty when I checked out a little late was friendly, polite, respectful, professional and very understanding, which is no longer a common experience at South Dakota hotels, unfortunately. At other hotels in Rapid City, employees will literally groan, sigh heavily and become noticeably upset when I request a late checkout. So, all of my gratitude to this property!

This is an older property and definitely a bit worn around the edges. For instance, the bathroom in our room had to be the original work. But the place is clean and represents an excellent value.
