"Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea / coffee (but no biscuits or water), excellent hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Outside seating area by the bar was lovely, restaurant clean. All staff we came across were approachable and professional. Single only downside was that guests slamming doors during the night was very loud. Very much enjoyed our stay."
"Superior Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Restaurant is clean, breakfast well cooked. Gym and pool pretty quiet. The setting of the hotel is very nice and peaceful. Lots of greenery and fresh air. "
"Lovely hotel and pub. Room was impressive, nice and large, and spotlessly clean Super king bed was unexpected. Rarely seen in many hotels so this was a definite delight.
Only downside to the pub as a guest was we were unable to get a nightcap on our return at 11pm. Breakfast very nicely set out. Ingredients fresh and flavoursome. If returning to the are, will definitely stay again. "
"The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again."
"Hotel was easy to find and with plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests. Room was lovely and spacious as too the bathroom. Aircon was a pkus with it being quite hot when visited in the summer. Lovely dining area with plenty of seating, we ate outside and food was delicious in the evening and at breakfast. I would order breakfast when booking as it is £15 and not £10 as advertised. Will stay again whrn in the area."

Food very good although Chicken Parmesan at dinner far too big a portion.

"Pleasantly surprised. Was booked as an overnight pit stop for Thorpe park but actually wished we’d spent more time there. Quirky, cosy and everything you needed like ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, coffee machine etc. even snack in the room (chargeable). Literally 5 mins to Thorpe park "
"The young lady who checked us in on Saturday 28th June was superb. Very professional and friendly and set a lovely tone to the start of our trip. The honesty bar, although we didn't use it, was a lovely touch and the garden was lovely to sit out in."
