"Very historical, well placed property. Beautiful gardens and pool (the biggest gardens in Luxor). Great location - 5 minute walk to Luxor Temple. The facilities are a little dated, and there is no gym or spa, but it’s the best hotel in Luxor and the staff is fantastic"

"We had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Achti Resort—easily the best hotel of our entire trip to Egypt. Our room was very clean and included a thoughtful welcome treat of Turkish/Lebanese-style baklava. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking both the Nile and the hotel’s beautiful garden. "Wonderful hotel for our family with three daughters! Our room was huge and very nice. The owner is terrific and we felt like we were at a home away from home while there. They offer a lot of tour options as well, making it very convenient. The area is quiet and safe. A nice rooftop breakfast with great views of the mountains and hot air balloons each morning. If we are ever back in Luxor we will definitely stay here again. "

"Rooms are clean, buffet breakfast great-they have a huge selection, eggs made to order, coffee machine that makes latte! Big front reception area, they xray all luggages. They have an on site travel/tours company & booked our trips on the spot for the next day with no issues. Restaurant was just ok but the bar was great. Restaurants & shops near within walking distance. Pool closes at sunset."
