"Family from all over were meeting in Matamata for a BIG 60th celebration and 3 of our family booked into Tower Rd Motel. I was there first and found the check in process very easy. Our host was most informative and was able to direct us to our venue. She suggested we put the heat pump on as not a lot of sun had hit the room - we were most grateful when we arrived back after the party to have a nice toasty room to sleep in. Had a comfortable sleep and would definitely recommend, would stay again...

"Toliets need to be serviced properly sometimes doesn't flush properly. Showers need upgrade as pressure is very poor. Stairs need fixing as they shack whenever anyone walks up and downstairs. Lovely customer service cant wait to stay again "

"It was once a lovely place but is now everything is very dated and tired looking. Emergency housing on site as well which is very sad. Having said that, it was quiet and we slept well"

"We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back."
