"Great hotel right in the rice patties. Has a wonderful pool. The restaurant is excellent. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with everything. Even set up transport for us and a massage for my wife in our room overlooking the patties. Highly recommend for a quiet peaceful getaway "
"This place is a gem and perhaps it should remain a bit of a hidden one, but I highly recommend this resort. If you are looking for a bit of reflection surrounded by nature and with wonderful on-site, guided meditations (in which the staff participates, which makes it even more special), you will love it here. "Beautiful hotel with stunning views, a lovely garden, a very nice staff, and a truly excellent restaurant. The location is quite isolated, so it’s best suited for a short stay unless you have your own transport (though the hotel does offer rental services). "Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields.
Agung was a wonderful host who made our stay so much more special. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and very enthusiastic and fun to interact with each day.
