I honestly did not want to leave this hotel, it really is an amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle in other areas of Bali. Wow, this place is a gem! The views are breathtaking, the service and staff are exceptional, the pool is wonderful, and the restaurant has a variety of options that were delicious. I have stayed all over Bali and this was my favorite place! The people there really make you feel like home and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Only 10min to Besakih temple and they can schedule shuttle service for you. If you want to check out the night market for some Balinese traditional food (the BBQ tuna skewers were so yummy), it’s only a ten minute walk away. Book your stay with the view and you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Tapa Agung!

DO NOT get sucked into this hotel’s low prices, seemingly nice rooms from their photos, and “good reviews”. The room was full of bugs and it looked nothing like the pictures they have on here where the room actually looked pretty nice. The food was absolutely horrible, I didn’t even want to eat it. Then upon checkout, the receptionist chased us out to our taxi and said, “the hand towel count does not match our records, please tell me where is the other hand towel”. My wife and I were shocked! First of all, nobody would take a hand towel from that dirty room. Second of all, that is not how you handle that situation even if one was missing. In the end, the cleaning lady checking the room found the other hand towel and we were “free to go”, as the receptionist said. As if we were in prison!? I’m giving this hotel 2 stars instead of the 1 that it deserves just because the pool actually has a pretty cool view of the volcano.

We stayed two nights at the Tapa Agung View Hotel. They welcomed us with fresh drinks and towels. The view of the hotel is unbelievable. You feel in the middle of the jungle. In comparison to Ubud, the area is more quit which we enjoyed. The buffet in the morning is a bit limited. The rooms are very clean and the bed is more than comfortable.

Hôtel magnifique avec une vue imprenable sur le mont agung. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien agencées. Et comme souvent à Bali, le personnel est d’une extrême gentillesse, au petit soin pour vous bichonner. Mention spéciale à Diwi qui nous a accueilli et personnalisé notre séjour. En terme de qualité de service et d’hébergement, c’est l’un des meilleurs que nous ayons fait sur Bali. L’hôtel est très bien entretenu, les chambres sont spacieuses et modernes. La vue sur le Mont Agung est incroyable par temps dégagé. L’endroit est calme et paisible, idéal pour un peu de repos. Le restaurant sur place, avec le dîner et le petit déjeuner sont de très bonnes qualités. Le seul bémol est le manque de lieu d’intérêt ou d’activité dans les alentours. Le temps n’était pas clément lors de notre séjour, nous ne savions pas vraiment comment nous occuper. Nous y avions séjourné 2 jours, ce qui était suffisant pour trouver un peu de repos après de longues journées de visite sur Ubud.
