We were never given a confirmed hotel address or clear location details, which made this booking incredibly stressful and completely unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to find the hotel and contact the provider, there was no reliable information on where the accommodation actually was. Arriving in an unfamiliar area with luggage and no confirmed address is not what anyone expects from a legitimate hotel booking. The lack of communication and basic information suggests serious disorganisation at best, and a scam at worst. A hotel that cannot even provide its own location should not be allowed to take bookings. Avoid unless you enjoy wasting time, money, and patience.

This hotel in Punta Cana has an amazing atmosphere with a large clean pool and plenty of space to relax. The nearby restaurants serve delicious local food and an impressive variety of international cuisine. Every dinner was a highlight of our stay.

The hotel feels like a paradise with its crystal clear pool and peaceful surroundings. The beach was immaculate and the restaurants in walking distance offered excellent local food and a huge variety of cuisines. We could not stop enjoying the tropical cocktails and relaxed dining atmosphere.

Staying at this tropical hotel felt like stepping into a postcard. From the moment we arrived, everything was peaceful, warm, and beautifully designed. The gardens were full of palm trees and flowers, and the ocean view from the room was absolutely stunning. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed every sunset. The staff were extremely kind and always ready to help with a smile, which made the experience even more special. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the tropical fruits and seafood. We loved having breakfast while listening to the sound of the waves and the birds in the morning. This hotel is perfect for anyone looking to relax, disconnect from stress, and truly enjoy nature. We left feeling calm, happy, and already dreaming of coming back.

They are deceiving in their advertising, there is no beach close by, the address is also wrong. Amenities were in horrible state, AV nor working, staff were rude. Nothing placental about that place

Overall pleasant stay with friendly staff, but room and maintenance need improvement I had an overall pleasant stay at this Punta Cana property, mainly because of the warm and friendly people, but I do want to share some honest feedback so future guests know what to expect and so the property can improve. The photos on Expedia were a bit deceiving for me. Based on the pictures, I was expecting something closer to a Wyndham-style room or even a La Quinta–type setup, which are usually simple but comfortable and well maintained. In reality, the room was much more basic than expected. Here are some of the challenges I encountered during my stay: The room itself was very basic and not as comfortable as I anticipated. The bathroom sink faucet was only half working, with very low water pressure and more of a spray than a proper flow. The shower enclosure was not fully sealed, so water leakage was unavoidable and the bathroom floor was always wet after showering. There were times during the day when there was suddenly no water. Room cleaning was not done daily, which is something I’m more accustomed to in the U.S. and Canada. The cement stairs going down were not swept during the entire week I stayed there, and I noticed debris like cut nails, which could be a safety concern. The Wi-Fi was very slow and unreliable. That said, there were also many positive aspects that made the stay enjoyable: The staff were genuinely happy, positive, and very kind, which made a big differ

If I could rate this place a 0 I would.What they advertise is not what is presented.The rooms are filthy with mold and mildew on the tiles. The water is cold, there is a water heater that “maintenance” had to rig for WARM water. And when the water came out it dripped out.They only gave you one sheet, not a blanket. We had to ask for sheets and towels multiple times. There was no housekeeping, no room service, nothing.They advertise a private beach! It’s all a lie, you have to go down the street into an alley way to get to a beach. Z E R O STARS !

There was no Sandy Bay Vacation. We went to within 50 feet in front of this hotel showing our expedia reservation printout but none of the local recignized it. One of the nearby establishment allowed us to connect to their wifi. We whatsapp'ed Sandy Bay Vacation and was told they are actually Sol Caribe. We cannot rate this motel. It is in a sprawling, dirty and dusty neighborhood of Los Corales. Our room and probably all of them are old and much needed of maintenance. Our front door can open halfway before it hits the cabinet. The stand up shower was enclaved with black mold around the base. The A/C and the rusty fridge worked. They do not do daily room cleaning. We got one trash bag of new towels over our 4-night stay. Other than that tge security people that manned the front gate were nice. Expedia you need to verify vendors that work with you.

The room felt like an apartment because of its size. The bed was comfortable and warm. Breakfast had fresh fruit and good coffee. The only thing I didn’t like was the noisy hallway.

Very convenient location with a lot of restaurants and many bars. It is right on the beach and actually this is very touristic area so everything you need you can find within walking distance. Would recommend.

Sandy Bay vacation at playa Los corrales is also Sol caribe in Expedia. 1. This place is fake, why? This hotel is actually Sol Caribe, not Sandy Bay, they change the name because it only has 2 stars. 2. This place is not a beach front or by the beach as they stated. Is a closed facility, the beach with a 7 minutes walk to a public beach. 3. They advertise luxurious apartastudios. It's in Expedia hotel description first page. The place it's in ruins. 4. They promote pool, and a nice one in pics. The pool is broken, and empty. 5. They never show the back view of the room, but it's TERRIBLE. 6. Was not cheap, over hundred a night it's very expensive to get this delapidated hotel with false advertising. Also, TV didn't work as the hdmi cable was broken. Because there is no phones on the rooms, I had to go to the reception to have a new cable, they told me they will send someone that never came to fix the TV. I only spent 1 night out of 5, I was afraid of moving to the new hotel at night, this neighborhood doesn't look safe on top of everything. They did not refund me, I just made a new reservation.

Complete opposite of the "luxurious and amazing" reviews that were posted when booking this. First, room was unlocked and OPEN upon arrival. Room was dirty and hot. Mold in shower, toilet didnt flush, entire kitchen was dirty, fridge broken,bed sheets were dingy. Pool was empty. This gave back road motel vibes.
