did not get the room I requested on my reservation. I had to switch rooms, bathroom room celling was leaking- it took them almost 3 hours to come and fix it. I had to take a shower in a friend room. once it was they never fixed the light backs so I had only 2 light blub working. the food was not fresh. I asked for a mocktail for the kids and was told no only soda, while i see other kids had mocktails. bugs were found on the floors. shower towels only 2 was given, when i asked for more it it took almost 2 hours to get more. the only good lunch we had was a lobster lunch! most of the staff at the buffet did not attend to us unless we put a tip at the table!

So the staff in general is very disorganized, nobody knows nothing, if you ask they will give you zero information, not mention that more then half of the staff doesn't speak English such is fine, I have a good Spanish, but then when I tried to speak in Spanish they try to talk as fast as they can so you get very confused. They are not very clean, the reusable cups most of the times were dirty. The food didn't have anything cough my eyes (and I'm not a pick eater). Other thing very annoying they offer you stuff everyday for you to buy, either massage, tours, special dinners, I just wanted to rest! If I wanted something I would ask a Staff, just leave people alone! Our room was always very clean, the lady who cleaned did a very good job, and she was one of the few very nice people that I talked to. The hotel in general is absolutely HUGE! I wish they had golf car for everyone that is not a member lol I'd not stay there again, actually I don't think this is a country I would go back anytime soon. The nature is breath taken, we went in tour, but the culture/people doesn't help. They are very late, the traffic is terrible, I met many cranky people there. I hope if you are looking this review, its worth to try, maybe your experience will be better then mine.

Room was nice and clean, but a little smaller than I like. Staff was helpful and mostly friendly. Food was what you’d expect for an all inclusive, decent, not great.

The room was great. Staff was very helpful. Kyle helped us during our stay to schedule dinners and a romantic dinner. He went above and beyond for us. We celebrated our honeymoon here and couldn’t be happier

The first room that we got had a bad lock which made us to walk back and forth 3 times inside the resort. We lost almost 2 hours on that. Then I asked them to fix it and give us the key to the beach. It worked for a day. The washroom door l9ck wasn't working at all. I told them about our problem. But no one cared. The next day after the dinner my family and kids were locked outside as the main door lock didn't work again. Had to go to the reception again and the employee laughed at our situation. Superior came with a maintenance guy to fix the lock. They couldn't. They had to go through the next room to open our door from inside. At this point we had to request for another room as my family were not comfortable staying in there. We moved to another room at the middle of the night. The food was ok. Pool was good. We are so disappointed at their customer service. My family decided not to go back there again and not to recommend. Thank you.

Rooms were nice, but very much needs ventilation in bathrooms.. mold starting in some areas of shower. Public bathrooms around resort ran out of toilet paper a lot during the day. Food was okay. Al la cartes were great, but buffets really need better labeling to help people with allergies! That said, food was good. Salt and pepper lacking, but you just need to ask a server for it. Staff seemed grumpy sometimes. Not like other resorts where we’ve made friends. I honestly would rate this a 3.

Hotel was fine. Some issues in the room, but nothing to fuss about. Food was ok but certainly not what we were looking forward to , especially in a 5 star resort. The restaurants were serving food same level as the buffet. Front desk made a stink about not returning the "towel cards" even though noone told us we would have to. As if we would steal the old beach towels lol Overall ok stay, but would not repeat. Bummer that DR is not safe to explore. Probably great if you love all inclusive.

We just returned from a 10-day stay and had a great time overall. The resort is beautiful and has everything a family needs for a fun and relaxing vacation. It’s not a luxury 5-star property, but it offers great value for the price. Rooms: We stayed in a family suite that was modern, spacious, and comfortable for our group. Housekeeping was friendly and responsive to special requests when we left polite notes in Spanish. The only downside was a lack of hooks or drying space for swimsuits and towels — a small clothesline would’ve come in handy! Food & Restaurants: The food was good — not incredible — but no major complaints. Teppanyaki was our favorite and we did it twice. Route 66 was a big hit with the kids, and I personally loved the French restaurant. The app made it easy to book à la carte options. Staff & Service: Most staff were friendly and helpful. We did find the concierge team a bit pushy with the typical “breakfast invitation” sales pitch, but once we firmly declined, they left us alone. Tips for Families: Bring snacks for your room (granola bars, juice boxes, candy) as the on-site store is expensive and mainly stocked with chips and sweets. I also brought Tupperware and filled it at the buffet for later — this worked well for our kids. There’s a kids club with fantastic staff — Felicidad in particular made our kids feel so welcome. The five-star rating is misleading. I don’t know how this hotel earned it. No one offered to help with our luggage and we were told in broken English to go find the building 12 without anyone showing us the way. The elevator only worked about one out of four times. One of the stair tiles fell down under my husband’s foot and was never fixed or even removed during our entire stay. The beach was covered in seaweed, the pool was dirty and it closed at 6pm. The food was awful at every restaurant! we tried all of them and none were worth returning to. The staff were rude and seemed annoyed by guests, as if our presence was a disturbance. On top of that staff constantly tried to sell memberships, future hotel projects, and tours. Marketing people were everywhere around the pool and beach, which ruined any chance of relaxing. Our butler only booked restaurants and pushed us aggressively to attend a “special breakfast” on our first morning, which turned out to be a members-only sales pitch. He called repeatedly early in the morning, admitted he’d earn a commission, and said we had to sit through a 1.5-hour marketing presentation to get breakfast. When we declined, he became angry, never checked on us again. The lobby lights were off during the day, making it dark and lifeless.The worst issue was that we had no warm water for the last three days and had to shower with cold water. The AC made constant noise and despite reporting it to both the butler and front nothing was fixed.

The staff person of Expedia named Woodley stood out to me and my partner as he went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. The clean room staff also did a great job and the rancho restaurant was unbelievably good. The pools here are great and the water park was great as well.
