"Good beach front location which has everything you need. Staff are helpful. Beach is stoney, not sandy, but excellent sandy beaches are a 20 min drive. Breakfast has good choice, but standard. The rooms and decor is dated. Swimming pool is Interesting but more like a paddling pool. After meal entertainment that has a Butlins feel, Spanish sryle! Think this hotel has real potential (eg rooftop bar) but needs investment."

"Me encontre con una habitacion pequeña, aunque yo viajara sola. Esto no contribuyo a la comodidad. El baño tenia hormigas, que atendio el personal de limpieza. Me gusto que tuviese neverita. La tv no tenia buena recepcion pues la wifi no funcionaba bien. A mi me tocó con balcón que daba a la parte interior del edificio, que tenia un deposisto, no sé si de gas. No era una buena vista. Para personas que no tenemos coches el transporte es bueno para ir a Benidorm y subir a la playa. Sin embargo...

"Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. In arrival the staff were downright rude. Snapping orders at us “passports” and “pay now” without a please or thank you. They don’t like the fact we asked to look at the room before payment. The room they allocated was at the front on a very busy and noisy main road. I asked to be swapped which they did - to be fair this wasn’t an issue for them. Breakfast was a different matter entirely - very poor. Bland cereals - rice crispies or coco pops. Not tea...

"The room was excellent proportions, the bathroom was extremely clean and I had plenty of towels. The bed was Fantastic with a great mattress and an array of pillows. Great amenities, such as a kettle, tea and coffee. I would certainly return to this hotel if I was returning to Altea"

"Based on the photos online, we were excited about the trip. The view was great but considering we paid nearly £300 for 2 nights, the experience wasn’t so good. Room was tired, bathroom appeared dirty. The pool area wasn’t open. We couldn’t get drinks or access the terrace until 5pm. Breakfast was reasonable to good but on a whole, it’s wasn’t the stay that was portrayed in hotel pictures by a long shot. Staff basically couldn’t give a toss."

"My daughter and I had a lovely stay here in June 2026. Although reception isn't manned 24 hours, the staff were extremely helpful and kept us updated via WhatsApp when we needed to check in or to order taxis etc. The hotel was in a good location in the old town of Altea, close to the beach and restaurants. "All was well after we got in… a little stressed because the reception closed at 5pm and it was a last minute booking, with internet almost runnning out of juice. Beware that Maps sends you to the wrong street! But a call helped and a nice man showed up to get us in. We had problems connecting to the wifi - it never happened- and the shower turne scalding and won’t get cooler again for way too long. "Great location, beautiful apartment was a breakage fee think it was €200 which is returned on your card as soon as the room is checked. I left my passport staff emailed to say which was lucky! Would definitely stay here again. Pool bar was great also."
