"Adorable BnB-style property in the Blue Mountains! The staff were so friendly and the rooms comfortable and cozy (especially loved the soaking tub after a long day). It's an easy 10-minute walk to the train station, town, and nearby hiking trails. Breakfast was great, and the views from the lounge and restaurant were absolutely perfect. "Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel."

"Advertised as having a bar & restaurant... in truth there is a little corner with wine & beer for sale, but no staff to serve you. Restaurant is actually a dining room where the have the minimalist breakfast that have ever seen for an expensive hotel. You can't drink byo drinks out in the common areas near the fireplaces, so forced to sit on the bed in a cramped, so called " deluxe king " room. Couldn't even put my suitcase anywhere and was tripping over our items. Window isn't made air...
