What a gem of a place. Right on a beautiful beach and within minutes of fantastic restaurants and shops. The property was small and intimate and made our stay extremely enjoyable. We will be staying there again!

Wir kommen wieder

Wir wurden im barefoot sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Das Zimmer hatte eine tolle Größe und der Blick vom Balkon war toll. Aus der gartentür raus und man ist am traumschönen Strand. Nach Cabarete am Strand geht man ca. 30-40 Minuten. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht. Barmann junior gibt viele Informationen und spricht perfekt deutsch. Koch und Hausmeister Andrés macht leckeres Essen. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits von Cabarete, was für uns sehr angenehm war, da es schön ruhig war. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Ansonsten sind die Zimmer eher einfach ausgestattet, aber ausreichend für Leute, die keine großen Ansprüche haben. Auto konnte in der Anlage geparkt werden, die nachts bewacht wurde. Alles sehr sicher. Wir würden das barefoot auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen. Danke für einen schönen Aufenthalt und Grüße an Hund yogi

The most relaxing break, ever!

The Barefoot Beach Pad is run by an amazing team who should train hoteliers in how to look after guests! We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived and appreciated the insider's tips for what to see, do and how. The hotel is in a beautiful location, 30 minutes slow walk along the deserted beach (or 5 minutes in a cab or shared minibus) from all Cabarete has to offer. We enjoyed the restaurants and bars in Cabarete but eating great food cooked fresh in the hotel kitchen, whilst sat at the bar looking out to sea with a cold drink can't be beaten! Thanks to the whole Barefoot Beach Pad team, especially Ben, Ev, Junior and Mary for your hospitality!

We loved the owners and their interest in making our stay enjoyable. We felt like family by the time that we left. Ben is a great cook and we were sad when we had to leave. They even drove us to our next destination.

Barefoot is close to town, but just far enough away that you feel like it’s you and the ocean. You can chill on your balcony and watch the ocean for a peaceful evening, or walk downstairs to the bar and lounge area, where the food and conversation with Mary, the bartender, will make you want to stay longer! The owners are amazing, always around and make you feel like you are family.

If you're looking for laid back, away from town relaxation then this is the place for you. Beach axis steps away with a great pool and bar. Food was surprisingly excellent owner operated and priced right. It's not a 5 star resort but isn't supposed to be. Close to town but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Two thumbs up.

Beautiful property directly on almost private beach. Fairly close to town. Nice large rooms all facing the ocean. Good breakfast. Owner very nice and knowledgeable of the area. Would definitely stay there again.

Names says this property. If you are looking for luxury stay, this is not the spot. This is neighborhood atmosphere with the closest nature and ventures. all staff are very friendly and helpful and the owner is informative and treat you like brother and helps you like his family. do i want to go back there again. Yes I wish I could go back there yesterday.

Ben, the owner, and the entire staff were friendly, attentive and helpful with suggestions on what to do in Cabarete during our stay. Barefoot Beach Pad is a beautiful little hotel with a great vibe. Excellent hotel with a beautiful sea view and great service! The hotel owner welcomed us with open arms and made the best of our stay. Because we were a little bit unlucky with the wind he arranged car rentals, kitesurfing trips and fun activities to do during our stay.

Great price. Great food. Fun location. Open hours on pool extended allowed music within reason. Security excellent felt safe in resort. Andres great cook and helper gave us a coconut from a tree we poured delicious dominican rum in and did extras to make us feel comfortable. Bartender junior went the extra mile. Management did great job as travel advisor, feedback, caretakers, bartender, and custom chef, helped find affordable ways to pay and visit nice attractions. Wifi reached beach and fridge in each room. Excellent value! Doninican landscape is beautiful. Pool chairs allowed on beach. Cautions: Traffic is chaotic and unsafe to an extent. Traffic lights seem to be optional. Up to 5 passengers or heavy equipment on 1 scooter. Scooters zigzag without looking, even while drinking. Alot of tricks vendors and restaurateurs use to charge extra but food is good off site too. Incessant hovering for money. Expect stomach issues and diarrhea from food drinks ice. a.c. didnt function in 1st room. 2nd room w hot water in sink but not shower. No gas for stove, no microwave. Housekeeper comes every 2 or 3 days. Did nice job but sheets might need changes more often given windy and sandy conditions. Ocean is turbulent and unpredictable with no visibility. Small children or elderly unable to swim safely. Adults often struggled. Management made occasional inappropriate comments. Coffee and water provided. Inexperienced bartender. Police will pull u over expecting small money.

Amazing host and staff. Amazing location on the beach just far enough from town to enjoy the party and the peace! beach is gorgeous and the propety is beach front, every room has breath taking views and ocean breezes! Bar and Restaurant on property has great food!

Thanks to the staff of the hotel. I enjoy the complete services, especially I loved the view of the beach the environment and going to the beach each morning . The location of this hotel is very convenient to go any city in the north part of Dominican Republic, including taking public transportation.
