"Our stay at the Pinnacle was excellent in just about every way. We were greeted by Kostas when we arrived and he was extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The room was very nice. "The room was spotless, a good size, with good facilities. The hotel is really well looked after and the staff were fantastic. The rooftop bar was alao a great place from which to enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand. We couldn't have asked for more. The location was good, near the Monastiraki Square Metro Station, within walking distance of loads of bars and restaurants and the Acropolis."

"The room was spotless and well equipped. It's honestly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for comfort, cleanliness, friendlyness and location. Complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water every day was great. Room was cleaned daily, bed made and clean towels daily. Breakfast was really nice, the selection was limited but taking into account the size of the hotel (roughly 13 rooms) it was more than sufficient and the quality of the food was great. "I loved my 8 night stay at the City Circus. The building is beautiful and my room (4 bed female dorm with en-suite) was spacious with a locker large enough to fit my suitcase into. Bed very comfortable and all staff are awesome.
Note that it isn't a party hostel. Guests range from young to old, all with different reasons for their Athens stay.
The night manager is very strict about noise - quiet time in the communal areas is from 23.30.
Open plan kitchen is very useful.
