Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We are in the heart of Grace Bay and you only stayed at the hotel one night so you have noticed that it is not really loud. You accurately portrayed the lights not working in the bathroom and I do apologize for that. After being notified we fixed them within 15 minutes. During busy season we are completely full every single day so our room inspections don't happen as often because we are the number one value booking property. I apologize for that. The rooms was cleaned nicely. Because of a domestic dispute in the hotel the police came one night as we called them to make sure no one in the room was being harmed. We have someone always on site as guest security is the most important aspect. This has happened 3 times in the 5 years I have owned the property but no one has ever been in harms way. You had requested an additional blanket later in the evening and Phillips was attempting to deliver it to you so why you didn't answer the door late is boggling to me. Considering 45 percent of the hotel were Expedia guests they contacted a couple other guests to determine whether your claims had merit and after speaking to them they realized you were not being honest and truthful. The Grace Bay Suites provides a value vacation on a very expensive Island. We are not a high end hotel but our rooms are clean, comfortable and we truly believe in delivering a wonderful guest experience as our 8.8 rating would indicate. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. With Provo Water doing an island wide upgrade to the water system lower than average water pressures will be a small annoyance Island wide until they are done. Cleanliness has always been our hallmark and it’s one area where focus is always placed. I’m not sure what happened with the room not being cleaned daily as no other guest has had this issue. As for the breakfast vouchers they do cover a small coffee as well as a menu item at all restaurants at a minimum. Shays while the most popular option for guests is the most stringent where as Island scoop offers a better value. We let our guests pick where they would like to go. We do thoroughly clean our coffee makers once a week. We do not have microwaves in the rooms as a stringent fire code requires a large fire extinguisher in the open and I was not happy with the asthetics. We do have next to the office. I pride myself in having floors in pristine clean condition and maybe with the lack of housekeeping daily service our hallmark of cleanliness was not reached. No other complaints were registered during your stay so I am not sure exactly what happened in this case but will explore so we don’t have further issues in the future.

I’ve never ever had a complaint regarding the volume. With the 3 remotes it can be a little confusing so I apologize for that. There is a way to make much louder. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Currently Provo water is working on upgrading the entire grid. Within a few months it should be perfect. As for the microwaves we have considered however I don’t like the look of having to have the fire extinguishers visible in the rooms. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

We thank you for choosing to stay with us. We do always do room touch ups once all the rooms are cleaned. Unfortunately in your case you were already back in the room. Just let the staff know next time and they will still clean for you. Yes you are correct we do not have elevators. No 3 floor hotels on the island have elevators. For anyone requiring assistance please let us know and we can bring the bags up. Not sure what exactly you were trying to say on the breakfasts. But we offer vouchers for 3 different restaurants. It’s up to the guest to decide where he wants to go. Lemon to go, Shay’s and Island Scoop are the options. All the best in your future travels.
