"Extremely clean 3 bedroom caravan in a lovely woodland setting next to the coast. Friendly host who ensured that we had all that we needed for a really enjoyable stay. Would recommend for families. "

"The hotel looks like new! Beautiful decor, friendly staff, great breakfast. I just wish that inconsiderate guests would use the smoking hut which is 20 feet away instead of creating plumes of smoke right outside the entrance. Perhaps some signs may encourage them?"

"Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful."

"Lovely friendly staff and super easy parking. Our room was very hot and on checkout they said we should have had a fan but we didn’t . Pillows were like hard which I get some people may like but no alternatives in room . The floorboards were all very noisy and squeaky . We were worried we were disturbing people below . Also £5 to get any ice ! Seems a bit expensive ! It is a bit tired looking and our room could do with a refresh . But that said the staff were lovely and made the place ."

"The Hotel was very good we stayed very late so never really got a chance to enjoy the amenities as much as possible but the location and surrounds are beautiful set in a beautiful castle Great breakfast and a welcoming Hotel"

"We had an early flight arrival and were accommodated. Coffee/tea available 24/7, great breakfast included, restaurant and bar opens at 5 for dinner because there is nothing else around. Great shuttle to airport."

"Our room was missed cleaning on the Saturday, Water was very slow to drain from bathroom, Bananas green on marathon day + they opened breakfast 30 minutes earlier 👏 Shower= superb All in all a lovely Hotel this was our 3rd visit"

"The hotel is clean, with pleasant reception staff and the room featured a bath tub. There are large windows overlooking rooftops and good blackout curtains, but the decor and carpets are dated. Telephone in the room was out of order and there was no shower gel in the dispenser in the bathroom. The location directly across the street from a bus stop was very handy, so was the location of a news agent just next door when I had emergency need for a new SIM card. I really regretted not having time...

"Overall, I had an awesome experience at this hotel. The room was clean, in decent condition, and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The restaurant downstairs was decent. We had a server who was awesome but I never got his name. The hotel is near a university and there are plenty of walking paths to enjoy if you like to get out and about. Also, it's very close to a bus stop. Just know, if you stay at this property, the bus ride into Edinburgh is 45-50 minutes. My...
