"We absolutely loved our stay at Roots Hotel! Great location in Faro. Walking distance to train and bus stations. Short walk to the town. Spotlessly clean hotel with cooking facilities in the rooms. Little Pool to cool off in, great complimentary coffee in the dining area.

"The hotel was lovely, clean and bright. The staff were very friendly. Room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was really nice. Pool area was good but there was a bit of algae in the water at the deep end. We were told it was harmless. "
"The apartment is exactly the same as described. The property management team maintains the apartments very well, all are very clean and im good conditions. The apartment is spacious, especially the living room and the bathroom.
During check-in, Claudia was so nice to provide many travelling information. She closely communicated with me before and during our stay.
The apartment is in a convenient location, just few minutes walks to the old town. There is a family resturant nearby named...
"Roof terrace was amazing, shared kitchen with all appliances in was very useful. Room had everything we needed. Cleaner coming in daily was lovely. The only point I Would add is there was some construction going on during the week days so can get a bit noisy, however if your there over the weekend it’s no bother. Great place definitely recommend, lovely staff. "

"Faro is a small town, emphasis on small, and very walkable. Our stay was great, no complaints at all. We had no issues checking in, the front desk was able to communicate with us via whatsapp which was very convenient, our room was comfortable and included a mini fridge. The location was perfect for us, close to the train station, bus station and airport. I would stay here again! "

"Det var kanon! 24/7 receptionstid var kanon! Att man också kan få hjälp med ALLT är ett plus. Vi frågade om busstider/Taxi/Uber och fick hjälp. Sen även restauranger/ sevärdheter. Allt var kanon verkligen! Takterassen var även fantastisk att vara på när man var trött ifrån att gå runt i staden."
"Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Bed is great. Bathroom spacious and clean. Only issue was the functioning of the controls in sink and shower. It is not intuitive. Took me forever to figure out the shower. Also we learned that Portugal hotels require your passport info. Faro also wanted 2€ each person in cash for City Tax. Expedia should add this to the room cost. "
