Useful location for us as we have friends in Ribeira so a short excercise walk to the port and part of river walk around a beautiful area in the country. "When we first got there, there was a huge industrial door and we had to use a buzzer to get in. We almost booked another hotel. However, the person running the place was quite lovely and let us out to a little cute pool area where we had a nice dinner that they delivered to us. However, we had to hike another mile or so outside of the city to get to the hotel would not stay there again."

"Lovely family run hotel in a great area. Lovely walks along the coast 2 minutes from the hotel if you want a car free day. Great location to explore this very unspoilt region. Made us feel really welcome. Lovely pool area outside. Very quiet. Worth noting that the food offering in the restaurant in the evening was very limited when we went (mid Sept.). but maybe it's better in higher season?"
