We had a nice stay here. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious. The elevator was very slow, and we used the hotel laundry service. Our laundry was most definitely not cleaned. It still smelled dirty as when we first gave it, and our clothes were crunchy. We had one shopping bag worth of laundry and it cost $90 for clothes we had to clean again at another place. We complained to the front desk and they took half off but honestly the laundry service is so appalling. Great place to stay if you don't need laundry service, but it also makes me side eye the sheets and towels.

I don't know why anyone would call this place clean or comfortable. I am baffled by how disgusting this hotel was. We only stayed about two hours before promptly booking another hotel and leaving. First, the room was so fragrant. I could hardly breathe it stunk so bad, and I wouldn't even sit on the bed because the sheets were so fragrant. Then, we realized how incredibly dirty the carpet and walls were. There were so many stains on the carpets and walls and even a huge burn mark on the floor. Next, came the ants. There were quite a few ants running around the room and they got all over a pair of our shoes. Another filthy detail is that the chair in the room smelled so sour, as if had been cleaned over and over with a dirty rag. Finally, the room and balcony used in the photos for the room we booked looked nothing like the actual room we got, and the balcony was much smaller. We checked out within 2.5 hours or less and we did not ask for a refund but were offered a refund. They literally encouraged us to call Expedia so that Expedia could call them to confirm the refund. But when Expedia called to confirm the refund, the hotel denied it. The only redeeming quality about this place is its prime location. If you want to be I'm the heart of Mala Strana, and you don't mind a dirty and run-down hotel, then go for it. If you want to feel clean and cozy, this is absolutely not the place for you. I was disappointed with this "hotel." It's so gross, and I felt cheated.

Prinzipiell zu empfehlen
Das Hotel ist schön und hervorragend gelegen. Der Service war sehr angenehm. Sehr bedauerlich war die Überbuchung des eigentlichen Zimmers. Ich hatte Superior mit Queensbett gebucht und bekam nicht Superior sowie ein Doppelbett. Gebucht hatte ich im April (mit Platz für 3Personen und hier wären 3Personen nicht untergekommen. Auch der Blick war anders- nicht auf die Stadt). Sehr bedauerlich auch, dass ich mich selbst einbringen musste zur Klärung und dies nicht als Eigeninitiative mit mir besprochen wurde. Deshalb schmälerte dies die Bewertung. Wenn es das richtige Zimmer gewesen wäre- volle Punktzahl in diesem Kontext. Schade, aber nicht zu ändern. empfehlen würde ich das Hotel trotzdem- mit dem Hinweis der Frage nach dem richtig gebuchten Zimmer.

Unser Zimmer in der 4 Etage hatte 2 Mini Balkone von denen man eine super schöne Aussicht hatte...besonders abends wenn die Burg und ganz Prag leuchtete. Das Zimmer hatte ziemliche Schrägen, aber nach dem ersten "Anbuffen" wusdten wir bescheid...lach. Die Vintage Einrichtung war sehr schön, aber auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen..das Badezimmer mit riesen Walk in Dusche war richtig schööön. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich, aber alles war lecker...nur der Kaffee hat meinem Mann nicht geschmeckt. Klimaanlage hat sehr gut funktioniert, bei den Temperaturen unterm Dach auch nicht unwichtig. Rund um ein schöner gelungener Städtetrip

Kamer was kleiner dan van te voren bedacht maar wel netjes. Badkamer was redelijk, spiegel hangt te hoog, je doucht in bad, dat is prima maar de hele badkamer wordt kletsnat doordat de douchekop onder het glas sproeit. Ontbijt is redelijk, tweede dag was t stokbrood oud. Het is niet slecht maar ook niet heel goed.

Pratiquement parfait
Points forts: propreté irréprochable, super emplacement à deux pas de tout dans le quartier, pdj très bon, personnel serviable et sympathique. Points faibles : pour être parfait, l’hôtel devrait investir dans de meilleurs oreillers, et de quoi occulter le jour niveau fenêtres, sinon rien à redire !

Maybe the best hotel in Prague?
I'm a frequent visitor to Prague and have stayed at many different hotels in Mala Strana. But I have to say that Hotel Sax was by far my favourite. I had one of the two top-floor rooms that look over the city, and the view was amazing. The room itself was very comfortable and fairly spacious, the staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant, and everything was just perfect. I'm already looking forward to my next Prague trip so that I can again stay at the Hotel Sax.

If i go back to Prague, i will definitely stay in this hotel again. It is clean, quiet, and walkable to everywhere. During my 5 day stay in Prague i did not use public transportation and i walkes to all tourist attractions. At front desk, ROMAN was so helpful and knowledgeable abd he shared lots of information about the history of Prague with me. If you go to LH Vintage Design hotel, ask for Roman and his information will help you to visit majority of the places in a short time. Also, the hotel offers great buffet breakfast. At check out, they also give me a thank you gift, a small box of coconut chocolate. They deserve more than 5 stars.

Süßes Hotel mit schöner Einrichtung. Personal war sehr freundlich. Zimmer waren sauber. Und die Lage direkt zwischen Schloss und Karlsbrücke könnte nicht besser sein. Die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einziges Manko: Hat man ein Zimmer mit Fenster zum Innenbereich, dann sind diese trotz Vorhängen in der Nacht sehr hell, da der Flur komplett ausgeleuchtet wird. Gedimmtes Licht in der Nacht im Flur wäre ausreichend gewesen und die Gäste könnten besser schlafen.

El hotel es muy bello ubicado en la parte nueva quizá un poco más lejos del centro y el ruido pero se puede ir caminando. Habitaciones súper amplias. Lo más flojo… desayuno. Pocas opciones.

My daughter and I had a great time. It was a bit of a walk from the train station but it was such a funky design and their breakfast was good. It was walkable and easy to reach all the main attractions. Staff was super friendly.

Cute Boutique Hotel with great staff and breakfast
Great little boutique hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing and free! The room had everything we needed. The location was good. Easy to get on tram to other parts of the city.

Central hotel with nice staff
We got a free upgrade and everyone were really nice at the hotel. The breakfast was fine with a choice for everyone. Very central hotel with airconditioning and elevator. The only small complaint was the water preassure which meant real quick showers. We got great recommendations for dinner and sights in the area.

Met Barbarella onder de douche
Je wandelt hier de jaren 60 binnen. Je kijkt je ogen uit naar allerlei spulletjes uit vervlogen tijden. De badkamer vertoonde hier en daar wat slijtage, maar daar stond weer tegenover dat Barbarella in de doucheruimte stond. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en netjes verzorgd in een geweldige ontbijtruimte. We hebben genoten van dit hotel.

As the photos of the hotel show, the interior design is quirky, fun and attractive. The rooms are spacious, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb! We would love to come back to this hotel - and to find others like it in different cities!
