Very friendly staff, allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated. Great walking distance from old town. We were offered a bottle of water upon checkout which was a small but very kind gesture. 10/10 for value and location.

Value for money! Good location

The first impression was good since the lady at the reception desk was so kind. Also the room condition was good despite the fact it’s quite old. They even provided a complementary bottle of red wine which made us feel so welcomed. Location is very good, close to the old town. Plus parking was free which was huge helping financially.

We have some problem while check in Because expedia missing my booking for 2 rooms but when we are ahown our booking with expedia hotel staff try to confirm and room is too small so we cannot take a room So staff hotel is Mr. Vlastimil he is a kind man and help me for slove problem he is a good staff and take care my group

There is no air con in this hotel, which really should have been emphasised when booking during peak summer. The room was pleasant, but no twin available so had to use a sofa bed. Day staff friendly, but night staff ranged from odd to outright rude - one tall Asian getleman was particularly hostile, shrugging his shoulders at a request for an iron, and rude demeanor when we pointed out our bath tap wasn't working properly. One the plus side parking was very convenient, and location was good.

Good Hotel

Hotel well located . Breakfast good variety . Lobby staff helpful . Only slight issue one room sink was blocked which was sorted out, other rooms shower over the bath flooded the bathroom as bath screen not working, otherwise good hotel .

Good value for money

We spent one night in a family room with 4 beds. Spacious and clean. Reception staff were really nice and helpful. To walk to old town takes approx 20 min. Parking in a gated parking lot. Good value for money at this hotel.

I was in Prague for a wekend, catching up with some friends. The Merkur provided excellent value for money - I had a spacious, clean and comfortable ensuite room. I didn't take breakfast. However, the cafe and bar were available to all customers (and the public) was breakfast was over. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is centrally located - the Old Town Square is only a short walk away. I wouold definitely stay in the Merkur again, if and when I return to Prague.

Merkur Prague - a misleading horrible experience.

I was very disappointed from this stay: the 4 star rating is over exagérâtes and misleading - at best I would rate this place as a Motel - beds, mattresses and pillows were old and made of a cheap pieces of synthetic foam, so you sweat all night long and your back hearts from not resting in a straight position. No AC in the room so you have to open the window and hear the tram and cars passing by. Bathroom - quite a challenge to get water at the right temperature and the door filled with humidity is not closing. Floors are old, paint is peeling… 300$ per night for such low quality is a scam !

Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war insgesamt in Ordnung bis gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Lage des Hotels war praktisch und gut erreichbar. Das Frühstück war gut. Insgesamt ein solider Aufenthalt, der meine Erwartungen erfüllt hat, ohne dabei besonders herausragend zu sein.
