"Was very clean, and was given a room with a window I could see the planes. As others have stated, was very quiet despite the airport location. Close to the train station, about 20 mins by train to central London. There are a few shops close by, but only 2 restaurants that trick you into leaving a tip, so that wasn't so great. There was a Wetherspoons but their prices were a lot more than the Wetherspoons in Cardiff, so airport prices are higher than outside the airport. Best part was easy...

"Hotel was good, staff were very polite and helpful. Food in restaurant was nice. Only one choice for breakfast which would have been all you can eat buffet for £16 so we went to a breakfast buffet 4 mi s walk away for an excellent bacon sandwich."

"Just had a quick over-night between flights, but the staff was helpful. The shuttle service was too expensive in my opinion, and the first shuttle was too full to accommodate us so we had to call a taxi…which ended up being nearly the same price."

Breakfast is rather simple of range and not cheap, the a-la-carte omelette was amazing though. "Stayed for business. Great location, easy to find via maps and ample secure parking. Easy check-in process and room was pleasant with good facilities. Lovely addition of free parking & breakfast via Expedia. Quality breakfast with plenty of options, fresh coffee and juices. No complaints and would gladly stay again if needed."

"The main thing wrong with this hotel is the furniture. It’s drab and not in good condition, the table over the mini fridge was tapped up with brown tape, to hold it together. Can’t you just buy a cheap new one? The chair by the bed was badly stained and there was gum in the carpets. In the bathroom the bath was stained and had no plug and no plug in the sink either, so hard to shave. These all make the place feel really unwelcoming. There was also a pleasant smell about the place. When I arrived...

"Very pleasantly surprised this is an absolute gem of a find. Easy access to Brighton by bus or car. Clean and comfortable rooms and great food. I’m a pescatarian so don’t eat meat so they are missing a trick with the Jamaican fayre as Mac & Cheese would have gone down well however great price and warm welcome and will come back again probably before the summer is finished."
