"We had a great experience at the Millennium Hotel. The food at their restaurant “Salt” was very good. The VIP perk contributed to the meal. The hotel is well located across from the beac, and easy walking distance to the downtown area. "

"While everything about the hotel experience was great, nothing stood out more than the owners Grant and Trudy Smith. Grant is one of those people who makes you feel like you've been friends for years even though you only met a few minutes ago. Trudy was just as personable. Whether it be getting restaurant recommendations or borrowing bikes to ride on the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, they were always ready to be helpful."

"Room was nice. Clean. Very central to CBD. Good parking. No complaints. I arrived late for check in, and a friendly staff member rang me to arrange check in, and the room was ready when i got there. Check in is listed until 8pm on Expedia, but reception closed at 7pm."
