Loved the location within steps of the Douro and all the activities in Ribeira. Right at the tents and tables area where the all-day and into the late-night fun was happening.

Wonderful location by the river adjacent to a lively square, which has to be cleared by 11pm! Great atmosphere with casual drinking, and some lovely eating, options very close by. Staff in the hotel most helpful on all aspects especially eating options and taxi booking.

If you want a nice hotel close to dining and cafes then this is the place. The staff are marvellous and the hotel itself is spotlessly clean. The room had a spectacular view of the river and bridges.

only problem was that you cannot drive down the street they are located on. therefore, if you have luggage, you will have a hard time getting it out of the car and down the steep hill. they have no bell hop to help. And very angry taxi drivers. The breakfast is good. and location is hopping.

Great Location
Fantastic location right near the river, sidewalk cafes & bars. Just be aware of noise from these if you’re trying to go to sleep early. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was plentiful & a good value.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the receptionist could not have been more helpful, nothing was to much trouble. An example of an elegant and simple renovation of an old building into a boutique hotel.

The day we checked in the hotel had no electricity. We were unable to charge our telephones, internet was not working and had no air conditioning. It was impossible to sleep so it ruined our first day in Porto.

Amazing view over the bridge and old town. Rooms were very clean and decent in size with a comfortable large bed. The accommodation wasn't luxurious, but comfortable and in the context of the price and location, very good value. Despite being central it was very quiet with effective secondary glazing. I visited in winter, so didn't have use of A/C.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The location couldn’t have been more perfect and the room had a pleasing view of the riviera. The room was clean and the staff nice and helpful. Especially when we were trying to find a place to get a COVID test.

Nous avons réservé cet hotel pour notre dernière nuit de séjour avant notre retour en France. Emplacement en parfaite concordance avec nos attentes en plein coeur du quartier très vivant ( et un peu bruyant aussi!) de Ribeira avec vue splendide sur le Douro et le pont Luis. Tout était parfaitement correct, personnel sympatique et disponible. Quelques petits regrets cependant, même si rien de bien grave : - parking proche mais assez cher sans accord commercial avec l'hotel - hotel accessible le matin seulement en voiture, mais check-in l'après-midi, pas top pour déposer les bagages - en raison du Covid système de commande en ligne du petit déjeuner trop complexe. - Enfin belle vue mais impossible de prendre 1 photo avec le mécanisme d'ouverture des fenêtres Ceci dit, bonne adresse quand même!

Excellent location in Porto
Excellent location for the area and especially the Ribeira river front. Easy access to river front and dining options by walking. Direct access to river taxis to cross the river and walk to Port wine caves. Room was clean with optimal view of river and bridges. Staff was helpful and professional. A thing to beware is street closes at 11 am if dropping off luggage otherwise use a taxis. We parked at General Torres and walked - this turned out to be a good option for us.
