Location was excellent. Walkable to all key sites. Staff very friendly. We are in the restaurant twice once for dinner - has beef tenderloin which was extremely tasty. Had lunch one day as well. Large room and lovely public areas.

We had a beautiful, large room with windows overlooking the courtyard where the pool is (although the pool was not open for the season quite yet). Very quiet, comfortable and well-appointed. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The property is lovely. But most of all, I want to mention the friendly and gracious staff. They could not do enough to ensure we were happy with everything. I love that breakfast included the pouring of actual hot coffee rather than making it myself from a machine. I have a feeling the hotel caters to lots of Americans and British so we felt right at home.

Wonderful stay! Staff was professional and service prompt. Loved the location. Breakfast was a disappointment though - very limited selection/ coffee was bad- machine working 3 days later- eggs cold- no breakfast meat at all one morning Limited bread and meat and cheese selection. Hospes Infante Sagres Porto is a stunning historic hotel with friendly staff, beautiful interiors, and a great central location.
