"If you are looking for a place to stay on Islay that offers a comfortable and beautiful setting, complimented by great food and friendly and helpful staff, look no further. The rooms were wonderfully furnished and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident at every turn. The grounds, in particular the walk to the beach, were well done and drew us in for regular strolls. Didn't play golf this time, but have in the past . . . highly recommended. All told, five wonderful days."

"It is obvious how much care and attention into making the property so beautiful and warm. The property itself was a site to visit. The food and presentation of the food was equally lovely and delicious. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Our room had a double bed. It was good space for a couple with not too much luggage. Would stay here again. Islay is so beautiful and worth the trip. Thank you Emma and Graham!"

"This hostel was incredibly clean, including the room, showers, toilets, and the shared kitchen and lounge. I have stayed in hostels several times before, but this is the cleanest one I have ever experienced! The hostel managers were also kind and very warm people; they really looked after me! If I have the chance to visit Islay again, I would definitely stay here and would highly recommend it to my friends!"
