Nice, clean rooms, great staff. The only downside: no bath tub. Showers only. But that's because showers are easier to keep clean. You get a spacious clean shower, but no tub.

Had an excellent stay here. Room was clean and new looking. Breakfast was great with Waffle station and biscuits and gravy etc. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is perfect with many restaurants, CVS etc right close by. Highly recommend.

Hotel was very nice. Staff was great. I loved their texting system where you can request for your room to be cleaned. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because on the third day we were there, my one year old threw up on the bedsheets. I had requested for service and they did clean up the room but they did not change our sheets. They made the bed with the same sheets. I smelled the vomit immediately when we laid down. Luckily it was our last night there but still, that ticked me off.

The room was huge and the bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Fabulous water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately the smell was obnoxious. It was like they tried to hide the smell of mildew with bad air freshener. We did get used to it after while and managed. The window shade was broken so we couldn’t get any daylight. Our room was 328 and the road noise was pretty bad. Breakfast was adequate. The servers lacked terribly at keeping the eggs and meat stocked.

I give this property 5 stars across the board. The staff was wonderful, friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and safe. The breakfast had a variety of options to choose from. The complimentary cookies offered at the front desk added a nice touch to the experience. I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Port Charlotte.
