"Well renovated old French farmhouse-type property. Host was very experienced and explained everything well. Advice on dinner venues also. A comfortable night’s sleep and breakfast was the lovely classic French deal, all beautifully presented. They’ve clearly been doing this for years and are y good at it."

"The owner Patricia was helpful, attentive,informative, and charming and her spectacular, peaceful garden and home were an Eden. The shower and bath unparalleled and her pool spectacular. "This B&B is extremely special and I would highly recommend it. It’s in a beautiful location with a terrace overlooking the Charente river. The rooms are spacious, perfectly clean and the pool is lovely. The hosts are so friendly and made our stay (over my birthday) really special. "We stayed for a night. The exterior looks a bit rundown but the apartments are great. Everything works, it’s well equipped and clean. There’s also an elevator which is a major plus. Daily continental breakfast for 11 euros - honestly it’s too expensive for what they serve. You have to bring down your trash upon check out and clean the kitchen if you used it. Overall a nice stay."
