"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. "Nous avons séjourné ici pour une activité au circuit du Val de Vienne et nous ne regrettons pas. Logement "hôtel" au top, cest grand, literie confortable, grande salle de bain, par contre il fait chaud à l'intérieur de la chambre quand il y a des grosses chaleurs (pas de clim, ni de ventilateur) . Le parc est très agréable. Les extras sont un peu cher... Si nous devons revenir dans le coin, nous reprendrons une chambre sans hésitation "
