Good Value for the cost !

The hotel was good value for the price. The room was clean. The hotel is in a good, safe area. The A/C was able to keep up with the 98F temps outside. Check in was easy. The breakfast was very good. Parking is a little tricky but not to bad. The only issues we had with our room was the safe wouldnt work in one room even after they tried to fix it and there was no safe in our second room and the hot water in the shower would increase and decrease on its own. The beds and pillows were good. We would stay here again!

Good option for family trips

The hotel is easy to find and is well located. The general service is good. It doesn't have a good view of the rooms but it's perfect to rest one or two nights. It has a small parking lot at the front that is paying and on the sidewalk one for free but it is difficult to find places because it fills up very quickly

I stay at the Alcide, or at least dine there, every time I am in the area. It is a quaint, comfortable, family owned hotel in the center of town. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and the restaurant is well-known in the area for their seafood! It’s a wonderfully authentic “small town” hotel.

We walked out as it had BLACK mold everywhere - the door to the room had to be opened with the manager’s shoulder, and then he refused to give us a different room. The mattress was completely filthy and broken. - we called YOU Expedia and you did nothing but prolong our pain!!!! You kept us on the phone as myself and my children dragged our belongings through the streets to the train station before to Florence !!!!! When we asked you to re book us in Florence we were told you had to call The hotel for their side of the story as to why we left- even though I submitted photos!!!!!! Expedia should be absolutely ashamed as to how me and my children were treated-
