"Nice room and great breakfast "

"The moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed with the outstanding beauty of the countryside and with the quality of the hotel which was also very spacious. We felt very pampered by the facilities provided. Maria in charge of the breakfast showed unprecedented professionalism and was very welcoming. I would have liked to have seen a few seats scattered around outside, other than just by the clubhouse. Nevertheless we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff."

"This charming traditional hotel was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location, only 3 mins walk to the seafront. Our room was spacious and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Sidmouth itself is a delightful English seaside town with plenty to see and do, eg walking options a plenty, repertory theatre, open air concerts in the seafront gardens and a variety of exhibitions. "

"Stayed again at the venue but this time midweek the only small criticism I have is that they chose not to do filter coffee jugs at breakfast which was disappointing as was very welcome at the weekend when clearly more guests were staying. I would however suggest just keeping one jug on the go in mid-week would have been nice"

"The property was very clean and all of the staff were so friendly and polite. The facilities are great wish we had a longer stay to be able to utilise everything. We will definitely be returning. The only criticism I have is that the decor in some areas and in our apartment was quite dated. But that isn't a deal breaker"

"A very nice small hotel full of character and in a beautiful setting and convenient to lyme regis. See and countryside views from the room. Lovely gardens. Friendly owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had eventing we needed... the owners checked in with us at breakfast each morning. The 3 course table service breakfast was selectable from a menu. Classy but not pretentious. "
