"We stayed here on our first night in Croatia. They have a shuttle service available from the airport. There was a bit of a flaw in the pick up, but the staff made up for the issue. The hotel is adorable!! Had a great breakfast bar set on the rooftop. Was the perfect way to wake up to our first morning in Croatia. "

"Hotel Monika was a wonderful home base for an amazing time in Trogir and Split. Hostess very cordial at checkin but staff should pay more attention. staff should offer to take stored luggage and place in the proper place rather than telling guests at such a hotel to simply put their stored luggage in a closet themselves. "I stayed here for only a few hours as my flight arrived late and ferry departed early but it really suited my needs and met my expectations. I would say the hotel is slightly older style compared to a lot of European hotels but I knew that even I booked. Close to Split airport and even closer to the Bura Lines ferry terminal which was only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel is right on the waterfront and easy to walk from here. Breakfast was fine. "This hotel is right in the center of the promenade, by the castle. However don’t bring lots of luggage as cars can’t get up to the steps - it is in a pedestrian area. It is tucked away , difficult to find first time so talk to hotel for directions beforehand. Staff are very friendly, and it’s good with breakfast included if you are ok with a simple breakfast. "
