"Nice hotel definitely worth the money. The bare-bones room was efficient if not homey. Our dogs were made welcome too. The food truck offering dinner is a nice touch. The hotel sits on a narrow street between two drawbridges and the port. Not much street appeal but the off street parking is a plus. And the canal is only a block away with harbor views."

"Room was alright, but got eaten alive by mosquitos overnight which wasn’t great, and when I walked over for dinner and a drink the bar / restaurant was all shut up. It wasn’t late. Place is just on the highway so unless you fancy a walk to the neighbouring hotel (15mins) or another drive you wont find any alternatives for food / drink. "

"Isabella was a marvelous host. She really went out of her way to help us get things we needed, even going so far as to phone and organize a cab and bike shop for us because our french wasn’t very good. She also provided a wonderful breakfast. The place itself is a cute and artsy suite right on the ocean overlooking a sleepy fishing village on “cat island”, which I think is some sort of refuge for cats. It was so peaceful and quiet in an otherwise bustling noisy tourist city and there were 2...
