"There's underground public parking with dedicated bays for the hotel. There's also direct access to the reception. Staff were very nice, checking us in quickly. The bar was excellent, but we didn't try the hotel restaurant. Location is brilliant, with everything you want only a short walk away. Definately worth considering."

"Beautiful hotel, second time staying here. Rooms are really clean and have lovely Rituals toiletries. Really great pool area was always quiet and no trouble getting a sunbed. Great location only a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Girona. Would highly recommend staying here."

"I only stayed here for one night before I travelled to Barcelona, but the room was clean. It was on the outskirts of the old town so not too far to travel for some sightseeing. Walking distance from the main train station that was very convenient for me. The room was very small and so was the shower cubicle. It wasn’t worth the money I paid but I would probably stay here again if the price was lower. The front desk is unmanned and when I needed help and advice there was no one there to help me....

"Place was magical. Incredible views, architecture, service, food, etc. Rooms were huge and were cleaned daily, as well as towels replaced. The free breakfast was amazing, and Irene was always so attentive. Perfect place to stay and relax. Could not have been better."

After parking and walking around the perimeter of the lodge, we found a keypad which rang into the host of the property. The host was relaxed and laid-back, which spoke to the location of our stay; Can Bassa is tucked 25-minutes outside of Girona, with no local amenities (gas, grocery, food) accessible.
