As the name indicates, this is a hacienda that has been transformed into a hotel by the brother and sister who own and operate it. The room we had was quite large, as it had previously been the main living area, and included a fireplace. (They prepared a fire for us in the evening, which was very welcome as it gets chilly at night.) We stayed for only one night, but our hosts treated us like royalty. Sra. Rosmarina gave us a tour of the family botanical garden, which is just across the street and quite impressive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. A modest but quite good breakfast was included. The hotel is well located for getting around the small town, and is close to restaurants, cafes, and the town square where the crafts stalls are situated. We were very happy to have chosen the Hotel Florencio for our brief stay in Pisac.
I would give this hotel six stars if I could.
My wife and I are semi retired professional people who enjoy seeing different parts of the world.
This was a wonderful facility that we can recommend to anyone. The owners were wonderful and room were absolutely first rate.
The area is very close to the market and, for the ambitious, also close to the start where people may wish to hike up to the ruins.
I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel and encourage anyone to use this hotel.
Included is a wonderful tour of his botanical gardens and, a museum including at least 50 different types of potatoes: who knew there were so many types.
Great location. Booked a room overlooking the garden. Room was clean, plenty of hot water, great view overlooking the garden. The one negative was a restaurant across the garden was noisy until 2:00 am. The hotel is building some new rooms that should shield the noise.
Would I stayed here again, yes. Would not opt for a garden room. Owner was very gracious, gave a wonderful tour of the garden which gave us important insight as we traveled down the Sacred Valley.
You check into and have breakfast in a piece of Pisac history, an old hacienda building with a history that goes back to the early 19th century. It is right across the street from a private botanical garden cared for by several generations of the same family that owns the hotel. The botanical garden is a treasure, with over 700 species of cacti. The new hotel rooms look out over the botanical gardens and a fabulous view of one of the mountains overlooking Pisac. Highly recommended.
The property was beautiful! It is the oldest home in Pisac. Rosemary and her brother Jose were both wonderful, warm caring people. Our room overlooked the botanical gardens created by their father. Rosemary gave us a personal tour. My understanding when I booked the room was that breakfast was not included however Rosemary and Jose invited us to breakfast. When we didn't show up the second day, Rosemary knocked on our door! The location was just over a block from the main plaza and three blocks from the archeological park. Loved Pisac and the hotel!
Room was clean and comfy and overlooked a beautiful garden. Plenty of hot water for showering. Coca tea if you want it. Food at the restaurant was really tasty. Close to the Pisac market. Owner was really helpful with touristy stuff and accommodating with our luggage. Our favorite hotel so far. We would stay here again!

Having booked this hotel without knowing anything about the property or the town, we were very pleasantly surprised to see just how beautiful the hotel was and how perfect the location was. Rosemary and her husband were wonderfully genuine and helpful hosts. Rosemary gave us a personal tour of her father's beautiful botanical gardens across the street from the hotel. Breakfast is served in a cafe adjacent and overlooking the botanical gardens, and there is a wonderful cafe/restaurant, named Beija Flor, pumping out zen music on the other adjacent side to the gardens. The room at the hotel was large, very comfortable, and decorated in local elegance. Like most hotels, there was no heat, but the fireplace and ample supply of wood more than made up the difference. If we return to Pisac, our favorite town in the Sacred Valley, we would definitely stay at the Hotel Florencio Casa Hacienda again.
