Hotels.com failed to mention this was a third-party owned apartment within a large residential complex, and so my reservation was not in the system at the front desk. My only complaint is that I was turned away with a small group of 3 friends that were going to rest during the carnival for an hour or so. I was told that I was not allowed to have ANY guests in the apartment. This policy was not explicitly stated in the listing and it came as kind of a surprise and a disappointment. "
