The property is about 20mins walk from Pinhao, and getting a taxi from the station is recommended if you are coming by train as there is quite a hill. The room was comfortable and well maintained. "The family atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are the owners and they really make you feel welcome. The room was immaculate and beautifully designed, the pool area was small but very comfortable, and the son of the owners is so helpful. He gave us excellent advice. It’s about a 15 minute drive up from or down to Pinhao but the drive itself is spectacular. I highly recommend this place."

"You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!"
