"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. Sol collant, draps avec miettes, frigo pas nettoyer, miroir et murs de douches avec traces noires, toilettes sales et la poubelle n’avait pas été vidée avant notre arrivée. Très peu informés sur la gestion de leur auberge. Pas de réponses à nos questions ni d’échange à travers la plateforme Hotel.com (obligé de les appeler). "A fabulous stay and spotlessly clean We had a friendly welcome, a great breakfast with lots of homemade cakes and jams. The owner has lots of time for all the guests and also took the time to explain a local running route."

"Petit étape de 2 nuitées sur la route des vacances, belle découverte. Un lieu calme dans un écrin de verdure. Un style « indus » très sympa pour la chambre. Non loin d’Aubigny sur Nère où un beau patrimoine est à découvrir. Merci au propriétaire des lieux de son accueil et pour ses petits déjeuners complets. "

"Nous sommes venus en week end a la brilleve dans la petite cabane. L'environnement est tres calme, tres nature reposant tres chaleureux. Mme est vraiement gentille et accueillante, c'est elle qui prepare le petit dejeuner qu'elle nous emmenait tres copieux avec du choix. Super sejour je recommande. "

2/10 Terrible

"We wrote to the hotel that we should arrive after 21:00....no response or check-in arrangements were sent to us. We got there at 22:30 and the self check in machine was down....so no help. Eventually some guy / staff member appeared from nowhere.... First he said our booking is not real.... despite giving him my printed reservation and booking number.... despite being paid already! Then we managed to get a room. The guy refused to validate our room for wifi and said to use the visitor option instead. When we did that, the option required a French mobile phone number.... so we had no wifi. Incredible. The room had a bathroom door with no handles, etc, etc....never again here.... "
